Funeral services for Lloyd “Bo” McCoy, 80, of Gainesville will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Whaley United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Charles L. Aaron, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. McCoy passed away March 20, 2012 at his residence in Gainesville.
Bo was born December 13, 1931 in Guthrie, OK to Carl Gordon and Bessie Wakeman McCoy.
Mr. McCoy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Rusty Strait of Gainesville; grandchildren Angel Strait of Sherman and Sierra Strait of Lubbock; brother and sister-in-law Harry and Billie McCoy of Gainesville; sister Nina Wilson of Wimberley; sister-in-law Mary Lance of Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rodney and Shelley Townsley of Colleyville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marcia McCoy; brother Bob McCoy.
