Graveside services for Doris Anita Johns, 71, of Gainesville, are set for 11:00 Wednesday April 18, 2012 at Bourland Cemetery in Keller with the Rev. Rick Isham officiating, under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville. No visitation is planned.

Doris was born on February 14, 1941 in Saint Jo, the fourth child to James Aubra and Ruby Hazel Wilson Johns. Doris attended school in Saint Jo and Ft. Worth. She passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Gainesville Health and Rehab Center.

Doris is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James Albert Johns and Mary of Callisburg, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law Sue Johns Lemons and Allen of Garner, Texas; and brother-in-law James Giffen of Carrollton, Texas. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy Johns Giffen.
