Alva E. "Essie" McWilliams, wife of Jack C. McWilliams passed away at her home on April 9, 2012 of Alzheimer's, leaving a legacy of love and history of service to her Lord and savior. She was born on October 1, 1933 in Crowell, Texas to James E. and Suzy B. Franklin.
She was an active member of Whaley United Methodist Church for over 60 years.
She is survived by her husband Jack, son Todd and his wife Lynn and their children Andrew and Kelsey; her sister Bess Dudenhoefer and her husband Mike, numerous nieces and nephews and their children, special friends Rose Garcia and Maggie Mae.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother J. E. (Jimmy Jr.) Franklin Jr.
