Funeral services for Vickie Sasser, 59, of Gainesville are set for Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 2 P.M. at the Geo J Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro. Mrs. Sasser passed away at her residence on Sunday February 7, 2010.

Vickie was born on September 29, 1950 in Gainesville Texas to Charles and Cora Bradford Talley.


Vickie is survived by her husband: Jerry Sasser of Gainesville; Daughter and son - in - law: Leigh Ann and Tony Smith of Gainesville, TX; Sons: Steven Sasser and James Ray Sasser of Gainesville; Brother and sister - in - law: Mickey and Tina Talley of Quinlan, Texas; and sister and brother - in - law: Peggy and Gale Tooley of Jenkins, Texas; and Grandchildren: Brandi Smith, Devin Smith, and Achilles Sasser; several nieces and nephews.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents and Brother: Charlie Gene Talley.

Pall bearers will be: Shane Talley, James Sasser, Wesley Sasser, James Ernst, Steve Ward, Michael Jones, Mark Ward, and Dean Armstrong. Honorary Pall bearers will be: Devin Smith and Justin Talley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday February 9, 2010 from 6 to 7 p.m.
