Funeral Services for Douglas Hugh Shannon, 61, of Tioga, are set for 10:00 AM Tuesday August 2, 2011 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Wright officiating. Burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery at 10:15 AM Wednesday August 3, 2011 under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.
Douglas was born on July 18, 1950 in Wichita, KS. He passed away on July 28, 2011 in Denton.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Nita Templin of Lake Kiowa; son Dylan Hugh Shannon of Tioga; sister and brother in law Louann and Harvey Lemmond of Garland.
