Lydia Hendricks

On October 13th 2011 Lydia Marie Hendricks was welcomed into the presence of our Lord. Born November 3rd 1918 in Post Oak, Oklahoma to Henry and Ethel Clement, Lydia is survived by one sister, Lottie Clement Hull of Matoy, Oklahoma and one brother Henry C. ( Junior ) Clement of Bentley, Oklahoma.



Growing up in Bryan and Atoka counties in Oklahoma, Lydia also spent much of her life in Cleburg, Houston and most recently in Gainesville Texas. Survived by her children Wanda Sue Pelton and Linda Hermus of Gainesville and Joe Hendricks of Sachse, Tx. Lydia is also remembered in love by her nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, extended family and countless friends. Lydia was preceded in death by her parents and John J. Hendricks, her husband of sixty-six years.



Family and friends will gather to celebrate Lydia's life on Sunday, October 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville Texas with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville Texas.
