Solen Bragg

Graveside service for Solen Rolen Bragg 94 , will be held on Friday Nov. 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis King officating under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home with Masonic Rites to follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 10, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Solen passed away at his home on November 8, 2011.



Solen was born on June 15, 1917 to James F. and Mattie Hickson Bragg in New Market Alabama. Solen was employed by the Clack Motor Company for 43 years as the parts manager. He was also involved in working with the MHMR and very active in working with the Joe Walter's Workshop in Gainesville. Solen was recognized as a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.He loved to fish and spend time with his family.



Solen is survived by his wife Bernice of Gainesville , son and daughter in law Roy and Ruby Bragg of Garland Tx, sister Kitty Sisco, step ghildren Thomas " Kirk " Kirchenbauer and Debora Kirchenbauer and great great grandchildren Ethan and Ashton Kirchenbaue and numerous nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Ruby Guess Bragg in 1988, a son Charles Edward Bragg in 2005, two sisters Mae Sue Pylant, Hazel Sisco, two brothers Ernest and Roland Bragg..,You may sign the on line registry at geojcarroll.com
