Lewis Crocker

A memorial service for Lewis Crocker, 84, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Sundbye officiating.

Mr. Crocker passed away January 2, 2013 in Gainesville. He was born November 9, 1928 in Corcoran, CA to Ervin Lewis and Jennie Belle Crocker.

Mr. Crocker married Norma Hegdahl in Long Beach, CA on December 5, 1952. He retired as a machinist with Swanson-Erie in Anaheim, CA. Mr. and Mrs. Crocker moved to Gainesville in 2000. In his free time, Mr. Crocker enjoyed gunsmithing and photography. He showed dogs and horses and had a National Champion Appaloosa.

Survivors include: daughter, Kari O’Dell and husband, Milton of Gainesville; grandson, Christopher O’Dell of Gainesville; and nephew, Bill Ross and wife, Irene.

He was preceded in death by his wife; and sister, Mildred Ross.
