Rita Ann Colwell

A visitation for Rita Ann Colwell 51, of Whitesboro is set for Sunday April 28,2013 from 3- 5 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Rita passed away on April 25, 2013 in Denison, Tx.

Rita was born on April 25, 1962 in Gainesville to Tommy and Katherine Johnson. She had worked at Rumpy's Bakery in Gainesville. Rita loved her family and especially gardening and growing flowers.

Rita is survived by her husband Jerry Colwell of Whitesboro; daughters: Savannah Brinkley of Muenster, Justina Brinkley of Whitesboro, Kim Colwell of Whitesboro, and Christy Cleveland of Gainesville; five grandchildren; and two brothers: Ricky and Teddy Johnson of Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren: Briannon and Tyler.
