Ellen Boaz

Funeral services for Ellen Boaz, 63, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Glen Waldon officiating. Interment will follow at Acres Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Boaz passed away February 5, 2014 in Gainesville.

She was born December 13, 1950 in Denison to Johnny Henry and Una Belle Frith Newsom.

A Gainesville resident of over thirty years, Mrs. Boaz touched many lives as a home caregiver. Her heart was filled with love for her family and for the friends of Bill W.

Survivors include: son, David Boaz of Gainesville; sisters: Carolyn Newsom of Gainesville, Julie Newsom of Gainesville, and Sharon Newsom of Denison; and brother, Don Newsom of Denison.

Mrs. Boaz was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter Tracy Joe Boaz; and husband Danny Joe Boaz.
