Ruth Agnes Kurtz

Memorial services for Ruth Kurtz, 92, of Lake Kiowa,  are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Clay Danford officiating.

Mrs. Kurtz passed away April 25, 2014 in Lewisville.

Mrs. Kurtz was born May 15, 1921 in Harper, TX to Henry Wrightson and Elizabeth (Stapp) Bierschwale.

Mrs. Kurtz was a resident of Lake Kiowa for 37 years.  She was a member of the Woman's Club in Lake Kiowa.  Ruth was also an avid golfer, bowler, and a tenacious bridge player.

Survivors include: daughter, Linda Kurtz Rowan of Dallas; son, Rickey Kurtz of Lewisville; daughter, Senga Danford of Lewisville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kurtz was preceded in death by: her parents and husband, Willard Blair Kurtz.
