Diane Kay Eberhart

A Funeral Mass for Diane K. (Zimmerer) Eberhart is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Petta officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with visitation following.

Ms. Eberhart was born January 10, 1948 in Gainesville to Joseph Herman and Stella Marie (Fuhrmann) Zimmerer. She passed away May 11, 2014 in Denton.

Diane worked at weber for 37 years. After fighting lymphoma for 10 years, she peacefully passed away as she had been surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, sister & brother-in-law, nieces and nephews in her final hours.

Survivors include: son, William ‘Bill’ Eberhart of Denton; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Glenn ‘Tic’ Block of Lindsay; daughter, Selina Brak of Grapevine; daughter, Katie Eberhart of Grapevine; grandchildren: Foster, Evan, and Anna Marie Eberhart; Joseph, John, Travis, and Matthew Block; Allie and Justin Brak; and Bethani Eberhart; great-grandson, Isaac Block; sister and brother-in-law, Jolene and Robert Fuhrmann; and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Eberhart’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a blood donation, or a memorial to either The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
