Graveside services for Joe Browning 77, of Lindsay are set for 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 3, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery with Chaplin Jerryd Wallace officiating The family will receive friends on October 3, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. at the Geo J Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Joe passed away on September 30, 2014 in Gainesville, Tx.

Joe was born on November 21, 1936 in Pampa, Tx to Lewis Felix and Tennie Dolly Winegeart Browning. Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Texas. He retired from the Maxwell/ Clampitt paper company working as a sales representative..

Joe is survived by his brother and sister in law Hershel and Pat Browning of Amarillo, Tx and sister and brother in law Carolyn Sue and Pete Horn of Lindsay, Tx and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Kit Brand Browning, his parents,sisters Neva Joyce Winkels, Betty Marie Browning, Shirley Ann Horn, brother and sister in law Clifton and Jean Browning and two nephews and one niece.
