Funeral services for Marilyn Jo McKinnon, 56, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the funeral home.

Jo was born on July 24, 1958 in Gainesville to William "Bud" David and Lillie Irene (King) Bruce. She passed away on February 27, 2015 in Whitesboro.

She is survived by her son Jason Blanton of Woodbine; daughter Jennifer McKinnon of Gainesville; daughter Lacy McKinnon of Gainesville; grandchildren Kobe Blanton, Addison Blanton, Kaden Blanton, and Lilly Stockwell; sister Linda Bentley of Mt. Vernon; sister Ann May of Woodbine; sister Gayle Pruitt and her husband David of Whitesboro; sister Kay Bruce of Gainesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; sister Billie Skinner; brother Wayne King; brother Jamie Bruce; brother Howard Bruce; and brother Ronnie Bruce.
