Lois Smith Green

Funeral service for Lois Smith Green 87, of Gainesville are set for Saturday March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with Rev. James Davis officiating with burial to follow in the Azleland Memorial Park in Azle, Tx. The family will receive friends on Friday March 6, 2015 from 7:00- 8:30 at the funeral home.Lois passed away on March 4, 2015 in Gainesville.

Lois was born on May 9,1927 in Dallas, Texas to Oscar and Alma Foster Fitzgerald. She loved singing, playing the piano, staying strong in her faith by loving to read the word of God and she dearly loved her family and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Lois is survived by her children William Green and Carole, Lavonne Davis and James, Virginia Booth and Larry, Margaret Pilgrim, Arthur Green and Johnna, Karen Underwood and Kevin, Sharon Lockley and Ike and Madie Milder and Willie, 31 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jester Green, daughter Jeanette Foster, sons Darrell, Phillip, and Alton Green, five sisters and one brother.
