Irene Roumaine Mecca

Services for Roumaine Mecca are set for Sunday March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 29, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Roumaine passed away on March 25, 2015 in Gainesville, Tx.

Roumaine was born on December 26, 1930 in Johnsonburg , PA. to Merle Harold and Genevieve O. Burg Harps. She married Richard " Dick " Mecca on April 3, 1950 in Knoxville, Tenn and enjoyed over 57 yrs together. Roumaine worked for Lorch- Westway and later Bomber Bait Company. She loved to do counted cross stich and play cards and board games with her family.

Roumaine is survived by her children Deborah Boaz and her husband Bobby Boaz, Dawn Joy Porter and her husband Ralph, Pamela Albrecht of Bowie, Rene Cheryl Knauf and her husband Don of Lindsay and Richard Terrance Mecca and his wife Nancy of Woodbine, Tx. eleven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents. her husband Richard " Dick" Mecca and sister Marilyn Parks

Memorial contributions may be made to Cooks Children's Hospital. Home Hospice of Cooke County or Texas Scotish Rites Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Kriss Boaz, Bobby K. Boaz, Mark Hellinger, Brenton Porter, Greg Knauf, and Sidney Boaz.
