Graveside services for Thelma Jeanette Cole, 89, of Sherman, is set for 2:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. No formal visitation is planned.
Thelma was born on January 23, 1926 in Gainesville to Earnest Richard and Lula (McGrew) Adcock. She passed away on May 31, 2015 in Sherman.
She is survived by her son Jimmy Payne and his wife Sally of Whitesboro; daughter Darlene Cole of Sherman; son David Cole of Sherman; daughter Jan Cole of Sherman; daughter Rachel Durham of Garland; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Pauline Huff of Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband J.B. Cole; son Johnny Cole; sister Ann Rains; and brother J.C. Adcock.
