Doretha Hutchison

Graveside service for Doretha Hutchison 85, of Gainesville are set for Friday August 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pavilion at Fairview Cemetery with David Hutchison officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 20, 2015 from six to seven o'clock at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. Doretha passed away on August 18, 2015 in Gainesville.

Doretha was born on August 2, 1930 on Freemound Road in SW Cooke County to Jeffie and Zuma Gaskins. She married W. L. " Bill ' Hutchison on October 12, 1948 in Rockwall ,Texas. She worked for S. W. Bell Telephone as a operator. Doretha was a loving wife, mother , grandmother and great grandmother and her hobbies included gardening,cooking, baking and watching the Food channel.

Doretha is survived by her children son Terry Hutchison and his wife Susie of Gainesville, daughter Jeri Hassell and her husband Paul of Gainesville, grandchildren Mindy Muellenborn and her husband Michael, Jacob Hassell and his fiance Gina Staggs, Scott Hutchison and his wife Melissa and David Hutchison and his wife Michelle, great grandchildren Alexis and Parker Hutchison and Preston Hassell. Also a sister in law Myrtle ( Vi ) Waldie. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hutchison in 1983 and a brother Junior Gaskins.
