Nora Jane Bezner

Nora Jane Bezner, a resident of North Richland Hills, passed away January 20, 2016. Nora was born to John and Zela House on November 6, 1925 in Era, Texas.

Nora graduated from Era High School at age sixteen in 1941. She attended North Texas State Teachers College and then worked at Boyd & Breeding Photography in Gainesville. As a child in Era she was an accomplished horsewoman and had many tales of her riding adventures. Nora was a traditional stay-at-home mom and not only loved and raised her children but provided a home to many friends and relatives in their time of need. She loved to cook for the family and was famous for impromptu meals for anybody who came to visit.

Nora is survived by children John, Stephen, Russell, Gary & Lori; grandchildren Zack, Heather, Jeff, Sara, Janet, Casey & Seth; great-grandchildren Ava, Dax, Deacon, Kobe, Addison, Kaden & Ashlyn. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph and daughter Leanne.

Graveside services at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Lindsay, Texas are arranged by Geo. J. Carroll & Son of Gainesville, Texas for Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:30am.
