Travis Clayton Walker

Funeral services for Travis Clayton Walker, 31, of Gainesville, are set for 11:00 AM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Marysville Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Jones officiating, with a private family interment following in the Marysville Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.

Travis was born on March 29, 1984 in Sherman, Texas to Archie Ray Walker and Cathy Ann Walker-Connell. He passed away on March 10, 2016 in Gainesville.

He is survived by his son Gage Walker of Collinsville; son Gunnar Walker of Collinsville; daughter Meghan Shoemake of Slidell; father Archie Walker and his wife Tammy of Decatur; mother Cathy Walker-Connell of Gainesville; brother Daniel Ray Walker and his wife Meagan of Beatrice, NB; sister China Walker of Austin; sister Jordan Walker of Dallas; step-brother Marvin Smith and his wife Heather of Slidell; step-brother Bert Smith and his wife Melony of Slidell; step-sister Lacy Waskom of Krum; grandfather C.G. Reeves of Marysville; and step-grandparents Bert and Bessie Bland of Slidell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son Aidyn Walker; grandmother Bobbie Reeves; grandfather Giles "Chuck" Connell; and grandparent Charles and Ida Walker.

Pallbearers will be Bert Smith, Marvin Smith Jr., Dustie Fennell, Dakota Woods, Jeremy Watkins, and Jon Baldwin.
