Kimberly Diann Mcelreath

Funeral services for Kimberly Diann McElreath, 54, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Payton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. McElreath passed away May 18, 2016 in Gainesville. She was born June 12, 1961 in Gainesville, to Joe Carroll and Betty May Sutton McElreath.

Kimberly graduated from Gainesville High School in 1979. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Petroleum Engineering degree in 1986. She worked for the U.S. Department of The Treasury for 23 years. Kimberly loved spending time outdoors and especially with her family, friends and animals.

Kimberly is survived by her spouse Sherry Wright of Gainesville; step-son Shane Wright and his wife Camella of Denton; step-daughter Scarlett Wright of Denton; grandson Eno Wright of Denton; sister Tommie Jay Kukes and her husband Troy of Springfield, MO; step-sister Dorian Ortowski and her husband Ronny of Fort Worth; step-sister Debbie Denny and her husband Reggie of Austin; father Joe McElreath and his wife Judi of Gainesville; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ms. McElreath was preceded in death by her mother Betty May Lucas; sister Sherrie Lynn Wolfe; nephew Jimmy Wolfe; uncle Robert McElreath; paternal and maternal grandparents.
