Clayton Koonce

Graveside services for Raymond Clayton Koonce, 69, of Thackerville, OK, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, OK with Rev. John Kinman officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Koonce passed away October 2, 2016 in Marietta.

Clayton was born October 14, 1946 near Thackerville to Leo and Lena (Bratcher) Koonce. He was stationed in Thailand while he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge, Clayton joined the Texas Highway Patrol, where he served five years in Seminole. He was then employed with the BNSF Railroad for over 35 years, from where he retired.

Survivors include: wife Toni Koonce of Thackerville; son Casey Koonce of Thackerville; daughter Lesley Pearman (Jeremiah) of Lexington, OK; grandchildren: Taylor Koonce of Springer, Seth Pearman of Lexington, and Elijah Pearman of Lexington; brother Johnnie Koonce of Gainesville; and brother Grady Koonce of Thackerville.

Mr. Koonce was preceded in death by: his parents; brother J.L. Koonce; and sister Merle Koonce.
