Jeanne Biffle

Funeral services for Jeanne Biffle, 87, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Eberhart officiating. Interment will follow at Myra Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Mrs. Biffle passed away December 16, 2016 in Sherman.

Jeanne was born February 23, 1929 in Graham, OK to Herman Taylor and Lona (Dickerson) Pierce. She taught sign language at the Denton State School, where she volunteered much of her time. Mrs. Biffle was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a skilled artist. She was a devoted member of Family Life Church.

Survivors include: daughter Karen Biffle Barclay and husband Burke of Dallas; son Chris Biffle and wife Sherry of Lake Kiowa; son Brian Biffle of Lancaster Nursing Home; grandchildren: Jordan, Lindsay, and David; great-grandson Scott; sister Ruth Joiner of San Antonio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Biffle was preceded in death by: her parents; husband David Biffle; son Barry Biffle; and brother-in-law Willie Joiner.
