Jerry Oller, 79, of Pottsboro, passed away April 30, 2017 in Sherman.
Jerry was born October 20, 1937 in Great Bend, KS to Kenneth McKinney and Burnice Evelee (Hiss) Oller. He married Sondra Lee Forshee on July 15, 1962 in Pratt, KS. Mr. Oller had life-long careers in the oil friend and long-haul trucking. The family spent time abroad, living in Spain and Peru. After Sondra’s passing, Mr. Oller married Judy Ann Degroat in Pottsboro in 2010. Mr. Oller served in the Korean War as a member of the Air Force and was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his family fishing and camping, frequenting Lake Texoma.
Survivors include: daughter Patty Brennan and husband Bill of Gainesville; daughter Shelley Warden and husband Rick of Gainesville; son Darren Oller and wife Debrina of Wautoma, WI; daughter Staci Dehling and husband John of Wautoma, WI; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous beloved friends.
Mr. Oller was precede in death by: his parents; wife of 44 years, Sondra Lee Oller; and wife Judy Ann Degroat in January of this year.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW in Gainesville or Pottsboro, or the American Legion in Pottsboro.
