Joetta Kaler

JoEtta Kaler, 63, died on Sunday, October 8, 2017. JoEtta was born on September 4, 1954, in Nocona, Texas to Howard William Kaler and Thelma Plumlee Kaler. JoEtta was a 1973 graduate of Gainesville High School.

JoEtta was a past member of the AOK Sorority and was a Camp Fire Leader for many years. She was also a local insurance agent for more than two decades.

JoEtta is survived by her son, Thomas Plumlee; granddaughter, Emma Manley; father, Howard W. Kaler; and sister, Sharon Kaler; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by mother, Thelma Kaler; daughter, Missy Manley; and brother, Bill Kaler.

A graveside service is planned for Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion in Gainesville, TX with Rev. John Fleming officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
