EULESS — Graveside service for John F. Theobald, 65, of Euless, formerly of Gainesville, is set for 10 a.m. Friday at DFW National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.
Mr. Theobald died March 24, 2008, at Providence Hospital in Waco.
He was born Oct. 8, 1942, in Gainesville to Lewis and Ruby Bently Theobald. John Theobald was a graduate of Gainesville High School in 1961. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam, as well as postings in Germany, and was discharged after 15 years service, with the rank of sergeant first class.
Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Linden Puckett of Euless and Sandra and Bill Puckett of Gainesville; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
No visitation is planned.
