Marcella Margaret Hellinger

Funeral Mass for Marcella Margaret (Knabe) Hellinger, 82, formerly of Muenster, will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Marcella Hellinger was born August 25, 1927 to Henry August and Elizabeth Derichsweiler Knabe in Muenster. She married Paul William Hellinger on January 8, 1946.

Survivors include her son Paul Hellinger, son Herman Hellinger, son and daughter in law Mark and Pattie Hellinger, daughter Monica Theobald, daughter and son in law Rosina and Gilbert Kubis, and daughter Rita Burgett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and her sister Kate Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Lizzie Knabe, her husband Paul Hellinger in 1975, six brothers Joe, Bill, Robert, Ben, Albert and Lawrence Knabe, and six sisters Annie Knabe, Marie Sicking, Helda Reiter, Agnes Hess, Christine Hellinger, and Leona Richardson.
