George Duey Elkins

Memorial Services for George Duey Elkins, Jr., 71, of Gainesville are set for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Elkins died Sept. 23, 2008 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Mr. Elkins was born July 25, 1937 in Fort Worth to George Duey Sr. and Mary Leona (Willis) Elkins.
He was a draftsman in Fort Worth then moved to Gainesville and performed lawn care for 30 years.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Judy and Eric Fouts of Norman, Oklahoma; one grandson; sisters Nancy Elkins and Penny Caldwell; and brother Franklin Elkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tim Elkins.
Visitation will be at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.
