Frances Ward Bell

Funeral services for Frances Ward Bell, 82, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Woodbine Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Nelson Grove Cemetery.



A visitation will be held Monday, October 12, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



Frances Ward Bell went to be with her savior on October 9, 2009.



Frances was born on August 17, 1927 in Gainesville, to John Irby and Cora Cole Ward. Frances married Boyd Bell on November 18, 1944.



She is survived by her two sons, Randy and Rita Bell and Toby Bell; five grandchildren, Chuck and Donna Bell, J.P. Bell, Katheryn Bell, David Bell, and Doriann and Michael Brown; four great Grandchildren, Iain and Bailey Bell, Emlyn Bell, and Madlyn Brown; brother, Jay Ward; sisters, Ruth and Cecil Sawyer, Anna Grace Smith, and Beth Williams; and several nieces and nephews.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Irby and Cora Ward; her husband, Boyd Bell; brother, Charles Ward; sisters, Irma Morris and Charlotte Jones.



The family requests that donations be made to the Woodbine Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
