ROBERT LEE USELTON



Robert Lee Uselton, age 69, of Gainesville, died October 10, 2010 at Muenster Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, TX on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Nocona Cemetery in Nocona, TX. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.



Robert Lee Uselton was born September 7, 1941 in Wichita Falls, TX to Doug and Thelma (Crow) Uselton. He graduated from Prairie Valley High School then served in the Army and in the Reserves. After serving he attended East Texas State University where he graduated with his Bachelor and Masters in Science. He was an agriculture teacher in Prosper, TX from 1969 to 1972 and in Gainesville, TX from 1972 to 2003. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was married in 1963 to Carolyn Coleen (Kennedy) Uselton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening and his family.



Robert Uselton is survived by his wife, Carolyn Coleen Uselton, two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Lisa Uselton, Chris and Lynn Uselton, eight grandchildren: Megan Uselton, Kate Uselton, Dylan Warren, Lindsey Uselton, Stevie Warren, Ty Uselton, Kelly Uselton, Dalton Uselton, and on great grandchild on the way.



He is also survived by one brother, Jim Uselton of Burkburnett, TX and one sister, Mary Uselton Brandon of Quanah, TX.



Robert was preceded in death by his parents Doug and Thelma Uselton.



Pall bearers will be Bobby Randolph, Craig Evins, Ashley Spikes, Brian Cartwright, Chris Glass, David Porter, Travis Rosson, and Tye Terry.
