Lanny Kelley

Funeral Services for Lanny Kelley, 60, of Era, are set for Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Prairie Point Nazarene Church with Pastor Ron Minor Officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Rosston Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Lanny Ray Kelley was born September 2, 1949 in Gainesville to Ray and Estelle Brown Kelley. Lanny passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Denton.

Survivors include daughter and Son-in-law Raeetta and Scott DeYoung of Justin, daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Larry Jones of Quinlan, son Michael Black of Salt Lake City, Utah, sisters Bobbie Amis of Era and Monda Kelsey of Sanger, and a brother Raymon "Buck" Kelley of Rosston. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scott Kelley, Korey Jones, Trever Jones, Jordan Black, John Black, Samantha Black, Faith Black, and Alex Black.

Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jerry Dale Kelley.

Pallbearers will be Cody Daniel, Curry Daniel, Clay Pace, Raymond Kelley, Trever Jones, and Nick Muller. Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Daniel.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association, The American Lung Association, or Camp Sweeney.
