JAMES OBIE NORTHCUTT

Graveside services for James Obie Northcutt, 77, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Holman officiating.

Mr. Northcutt died February 15, 2010 in Gainesville.

James was born March 26, 1932 in Jacksboro to Obie Ralph and Jimmy Irene Ramsey Northcutt. He attended Texas A&M University and he has been a roughneck, a cowboy and a champion calf roper.

Mr. Northcutt is survived by his wife Patsy Northcutt of Gainesville, his daughter Savesta Vaggett of Millsat, daughter Sandra Whitsitt of Jacksboro, daughter Debbie Collins of Jackboro, daughter Sherri Northcutt of Jacksboro, son James Northcutt, Jr. of Jacksboro, daughter Priscilla Northcutt of Gainesville and sister and brother in law Mary Ruth and Chuck Smith of Comanche.
