Andrea Danielle Hyatt

Aug 17, 2004 — Oct 4, 2026

Andrea Danielle Hyatt, 22, tragically passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Andrea “Andi” was born in Arlington, Texas, on August 17, 2004, to Julie Sandmann Brown and John Martin Hyatt.

Andrea graduated from Mansfield Legacy High School in 2022. She went on to further her education at Texas Tech University for two years and then finished by obtaining her Associates of Science Degree in Surgical Technology in December 2025 from South Plains College. While at Texas Tech, she worked at Top Tier Catering on campus and served many students, alumni and faculty during football games and other special events. She brought her love of caring for others to her position at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, where she worked as a surgical tech in the OB department.

Andi was a fun-loving and caring daughter, sister and friend. Her greatest gift was her infectiously big and bright personality. If you were in Andi’s life, you were loved passionately and with her whole heart. She was fiercely loyal, and her sparkly personality could light up a room. You always knew when she arrived anywhere because you could hear her from two rooms away. Her laugh was loud and contagious.

She was known also for her curiosity and oversharing. Her greatest passion was making her friends and family happy. She always let you know that she was the “middle child,” having seven sisters and two brothers. Andi was a loving sister and would without hesitation give you anything she owned if you asked her. Her talents were many, but she was best known for the beautiful macarons that she mastered after baking dozens and dozens. She even won a UIL baking contest in high school. She also loved to bake and decorate special birthday cakes for her friends and family. She also learned to quilt at an early age and loved to sew. She made several quilts, including a quilt she gifted to her sister Brianna at her graduation. She had more makeup than anyone would ever need in a lifetime and loved to experiment on his sisters’ and friends’ faces and fingernails. Her love for animals led her to having four cats: Luna, Bear, Scarlet and Misu. She was crazy about them and cared for them deeply.

Andrea was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Roxie Gibeson, her grandparents John & Margaret Brown, and her brother Adam Brown.

She is survived by her parents Julie & Mike Brown and John Martin & Kimberlee Hyatt; her maternal grandparents Paul & Maxine Sandmann; her paternal grandfather Terry Vick and his wife Stella; her siblings, Mallory Hyatt, Brianna Hyatt and her fiancé Robert Schultze, Cassidy Hyatt, Tiffany Key and her husband James, Cobey Brown and his wife Jennie, Sidney Tran and her husband Tan, Desi Ivey and her husband Daniel, and Kirstie Cook and her husband Drew, along with several nieces and nephews.
