Ann Renee Shugart

Ann Renee Shugart was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on January 14th, 2022 at the age of 60.

She was born to Donald Andrew Lawrence and Marion Ruby Lawrence. After Ann graduated from high school, she went on to work at a few different places until settling in at SAFRAN, where she has worked for the last 32 years.  Ann married Steven Shugart and have been married for 24 years, his sons are Jeff Shugart, Cody Shugart, and Adam Shugart.  Ann also has four children, Ericha Everett, LeeAnna Cason, Terry McCollum Jr, and Cory McCollum.  Together Ann and Steve have 22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  They have shared a wonderful and amazing life with lots of great memories together.

Ann loved to be outside with her horses, cats, and her dogs.  She loved to sew, a very avid reader, and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was also a “shop til you drop” shopper.  She loved everyone and never met a stranger.  She had a huge heart and loved to help anyone in need.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and survived by her siblings Marion Lawrence, Sharon Norton, Mark Lawrence, and Bonnie Jeffcoats.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on the corner of S. Lindsay and E Garnett St in Gainesville TX.
