Aurora Galeana Rodriguez, 81, of Gainesville, TX, passed away March 27, 2024 in Denton, TX.

Aurora was born April 5, 1942 in El Fuerte, Sinaloa, Mexico.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and trips to WinStar.  She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by: parents Froylan and Laura (Meneses) Galeana; and husband Manuel Rodriguez Sr.

Survived by: son Manuel Rodriguez Jr. and wife Linda of Grants, NM; son Leobardo Rodriguez of Mexico; son Leopoldo Rodriguez and wife Bertha of Mexico; son Paul Rodriguez and wife Jeanette of Gainesville; son Jorge Rodriguez and wife Diana of Houston, TX; daughter Evlia Torres and husband Javier of Madill, OK; son Ivan Rodriguez of Gainesville; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

A Rosary Service, followed by visitation, is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gainesville.  Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery, Gainesville.  You may register your condolences online at www.geojcarroll.com.
