Benny Rhodes

Funeral services for Benny Joe Rhodes, 87, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Nelson Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church starting at 1:00 PM, prior to the service.

Mr. Rhodes passed away on December 7, 2025 in his home. He was born on January 14, 1938 in Jack County to Arnie and Eula Fae Collier Rhodes. He spent many dedicated years employed by Haliburton. He was a doting and loving husband and father. Always proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments, he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

Benny is survived by his precious wife Betty Guinn Rhodes; sister Julie (Tookie) Rhodes Nunley; daughter and son-in-law Crystal Rhodes Harvick and Kent Harvick; son Clint Rhodes; son and daughter-in-law Craig and Angela Rhodes; grandchildren: Adam and Bethany Harvick, Holly Beth Harvick Bozarth and Matthew Bozarth, Jacie Rhodes Taylor and Nick Taylor, Katy Rhodes Pyle and Taylor Jason Pyle, Kara Rhodes Coberly and Ryan Coberly, Karly Rhodes De Santiago and Pablo De Santiago, Jake and Becky Rhodes, Blaine Rhodes, and Matie Rhodes; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
