Betty Roberts

Betty Jean Roberts, 91, of Marietta, OK, passed away on January 14, 2026 at her home in Marietta surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 26, 1934 in Tahlequah, OK to William Howard and Ethel Elizabeth (Hare) Martin.

Betty married Robert Lee Roberts in October 1950.

Betty is survived by: son Victor E. Roberts; daughter Shelia Ansley; sister Barbara Wright; five grandchildren; and many beloved great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; one daughter; four sisters; and two brothers.

The family will receive friends at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville, TX, on Saturday, January 17, 2026 beginning at 3:00 PM. Graveside services will be at Parker Memorial Cemetery of Grapevine, Texas, on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Celebrant Cathy Brown officiating.
