Beverly Linda Wright Bevers, 90, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026. Born on February 14, 1936, Beverly's life was marked by unwavering faith, quiet strength, and a deep love for those around her.
She was born in Breckenridge, Texas, and later made her home in Valley View before settling in Irving, where she spent many years building a life centered on family, faith, and service. Linda dedicated her career to educating middle school students in Plano ISD, where she touched the lives of countless young people with her kindness, patience, and commitment to learning.
Linda will be remembered as independent, stylish, sweet, and deeply rooted in her Christian faith. Whether tending to her garden, shopping for the perfect outfit, volunteering in her community, or spending time with family and friends, she approached life with grace and purpose. Always impeccably dressed from head to toe, she carried herself with quiet elegance, but those who knew her best understood that her greatest joy was the people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Olen Bevers; her son, Terry Williamson; and her siblings, Don Wright and Cakey Rachel.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Clement; her daughter, Lisa South; her grandchildren, Austyn Williams, Tabatha Williamson, Taylor Williams, Madison Williams, and Jennifer Williamson; and her great-grandsons, Kaylen Gonzalez, Garrett Williamson, and Karter Casey. She also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Linda's legacy is one of love, faith, resilience, and generosity. She taught by example that strength can be gentle, that kindness is never wasted, and that family is life's greatest blessing. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to be felt in the lives she touched. Her family finds comfort in knowing she has been joyfully reunited with those who went before her, and they celebrate a life beautifully lived.
