Britni Leagh Dulock, age 48, was welcomed into Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 15, 2026. Britni was born to Pamela Elene Covey and Herbert Lee Covey on September 27, 1977, in Sherman, Texas. She grew up in Pottsboro, Texas, where she attended Pottsboro ISD and graduated with honors. During her time there, she was also a standout volleyball player. Britni continued her education at Grayson County College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1998. She later obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000. It was there that she met the love of her life, Bryan James Dulock.Britni and Bryan were married on June 30, 2001, and were just three months shy of celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. The couple began their life together in Denton, Texas, where they lived for 10 years and both worked as Registered Nurses. Britni worked at the Medical Center of Lewisville for five years, serving in both the Labor & Delivery and Pediatric units, caring for countless mothers, babies, and families. On November 21, 2003, Britni gave birth to their first son, Jacob Bryan Dulock. Several years later, she transitioned her nursing career to a doctor’s office setting so that Bryan could further his education, allowing her to be a full-time mom. On March 31, 2008, Britni gave birth to their second son, Jaret Lee Dulock. Wanting their boys to grow up in a small-town Catholic community, Britni and Bryan moved their family to Lindsay, Texas, in 2010. There, Britni devoted herself fully to raising her two sons, whom she loved deeply and wholeheartedly. In 2013, feeling called back to nursing, Britni was hired by Gainesville ISD as the school nurse at Chalmers Elementary. Britni cherished her role there. For the next ten years, she brought kindness, compassion, and care to the students and staff, touching many lives before stepping away to battle breast cancer. Britni found joy in serving others. She loved cooking meals for those in need, gardening, thrifting, fishing, attending craft fairs with her parents, and camping at the lake with her boys. Her life was marked by generosity, faith, and a genuine love for people. Britni was preceded in death by her only sibling, Sherri Kirby; her aunt, Linda Bosworth; her grandparents, Joe E. and Verla Jean Covey; and her grandparents, Verman and Betty Jordan.
