Caitlyn D'Nae Eldridge

Caitlyn D’Nae Eldridge, 28, of Era, Texas, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2026, alongside her beloved grandfather, Lewis “Butch” Eldridge.

Born in Gainesville, Texas, to Martin “Marty” Wesley Eldridge and Marissa D’An Kemp, Caitlyn spent her life in Era. She attended Era and Muenster public schools and graduated from Muenster High School in 2017.

Caitlyn was known for her sweet spirit, beautiful smile and love of family. She enjoyed spending time with those closest to her and brought joy to the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her grandparents, Butch and Mary Eldridge, helped raise her, and she shared an especially close bond with them.

Caitlyn was preceded in death by her mother, Marissa D’An (Kemp) Eldridge; grandfather, Butch Eldridge. aunt and uncle, Heather and Robbie Kemp; and grandparents, Mary Alyce and John Kemp.

She is survived by her father, Martin “Marty” Wesley Eldridge; grandmother, Mary Edith Eldridge; brother, Ryan Eldridge and his wife Macy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, from noon to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Gainesville, with funeral services following at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg.
