Carvin Lee Moseley, 78, of Forestburg, passed away May 15, 2025 in Forestburg.

Carvin was born September 22, 1946 in Gainesville and grew up in Forestburg and the surrounding area. His love for the western way of life began from an early age when he was awarded High Individual in the FFA State Land Judging competition. Mr. Moseley continued his agricultural interests through rodeo, farming, and leatherwork. He found another love when he married Donna J. Barnes on March 12, 1988 in Gainesville. Mr. Moseley worked for Peterbilt for 15 years and was an active member of Prairie Point Church of the Nazarene. He was a very social person that enjoyed visiting and conversing, and above all else, he cherished his time spent with family.

Mr. Moseley was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Moseley (Doe) and Wilma Louise (Kuykendall) Moseley (Mutt).

Survivors include: wife of 37 years, Donna Moseley; brothers: Johnny Moseley and wife Cathy; and Wayne Moseley and wife Connie; nephews and nieces: Buck and Tonia Moseley and family, Nicki Moseley, Bryan and Dee Moseley and family, and Jeremy H. Hess and wife Mixie and family; several great-nephews and nieces; sister-in-law Vickie A. Haverkamp and husband Steve; and brothers-in-law: Sonny Barnes and wife Denise, and Marc Barnes.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Prairie Point Church of the Nazarene, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with visitation to follow. You may register condolences online at www.geojcarroll.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Prairie Point Church of the Nazarene, Forestburg VFD, Muenster VFD, Saint Jo VFD; or Home Hospice of Cooke County.  If an arrangement is ordered, please contact the florist and request that it be delivered directly to the church service.
