Chisam Darrell Wolf, 45, of Gainesville, TX, passed away in Denison, TX on February 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Chisam was born June 26, 1980 in Sherman, TX to Kathy Terry and Darrell Wolf. Chisam was raised alongside his younger brother, Wesley Adam and younger sister, Katy Rose. Chisam was always a caretaker to his younger siblings and highly protective - a role he loved. He had a heart of gold and was the most caring and nurturing soul.
Chisam attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in his adolescent years before transferring to Era Middle School. He then graduated from Callisburg High School in 1998. Chisam was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville. He loved and cherished his mother, Kathy Terry and grandmother, Lillian Hawkins, but his greatest love was becoming a father to his son, Kaden Lee, and daughter, Brooklyn Rose. He cherished every moment with them and was a very proud dad.
He is survived by his son, Kaden; daughter, Brooklyn; parents, Tim and Kathy Terry, and Darrell and D’Ann Wolf. Also, his sister, Katy Rose Foster; aunts and uncles: Dianne Perrin, Gary and Monica Doughty, Tye and Sarah Terry, and Robert and Traci Charrier. Chisam was especially close to his cousins: Kelli (Barry) Hunter, Amber (Eli) Salazar, Brad (Jacqueline) Perrin, and a host of the Wolf cousins and extended family.
Chisam was pre-deceased by an infant sister, Baby Wolf; his brother, Wesley Adam Wolf; aunt, Lisa Faye Wallis; uncle, Larry Wolf; uncle, Gary Wolf; grandparents: Houston and Lillian (Diamond Lil) Hawkins, Ed and Eunice Wolf, and Gladys Weismann Gordon; as well as his great-grandparents.
Chisam, with his infectious smile and eyes, would light up a room when he entered. He had such a pure heart and would lend a hand to anyone in need. Chisam’s free and light-hearted spirit would surround you with peace. He will be missed.
