Mr. Collazo was born July 26, 1929 in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jose and Casimira (Olivarez) Collazo.
Survivors include: son Jose Antonio Collazo of Ojinaga, MX; son Thomas Collazo of Ojinaga, MX; son Sergio Collazo of Gainesville; daughter Esperanza Medina of Gainesville; son Jose Alberto Collazo of Gainesville; son Javier Collazo of Gainesville; son Manuel Collazo of Gainesville; daughter Gloria Collazo of Gainesville; 29 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Collazo was preceded in death by: wife Maria Elsa Medrano; his parents; and six siblings.
