Doris Ada Meyer

Doris Ada Meyer, 90, of Gainesville, Texas passed away September 3, 2024 at 7:09 p.m. at Medical City Denton. She was born on December 31, 1933 to her loving parents, Herbert Nicholls and Millicent Saunders in Watford Hertz, England.

Doris is survived by her husband, Marion Hicks, her three children, Eddie, Ardith and Rulene, and her sister, Mable Dadds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at George J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home of Gainesville, Texas .with Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. and burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.
