Dorthy L. Ashlock, 69, of Gainesville, passed away October 15, 2022 in Gainesville.
Mrs. Ashlock was born February 16, 1953 in Bridgeport, TX. She worked in various restaurants as a cook during her career and enjoyed fishing and camping during her free time.
Survivors include: husband Wallace Ashlock of Gainesville; daughter Doris Phillips of Gainesville; daughter Mo Ashlock of Gainesville; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother James Blalock and wife Sue of Mineral Wells; brother Charlie Blalock and his wife of Mineral Wells; brother Floyd Blalock of Mineral Wells; and siblings-in-law: Donnie Ashlock, Connie Covington, Rhonda Jones, Wayne Ashlock, Jessica McClure, and Tammy Clark.
Mrs. Ashlock was preceded in death by: son Keith Glover; son Wallace Ashlock; parents Guy Edward and Doris Louella (Copeland) Blalock; and brother-in-law Lloyd Ashlock.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
