Edwina Elaine Hoberer

Edwina Elaine Hoberer, 53, of Gainesville, TX passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Gainesville.

Edwina was born April 29, 1973 in Gainesville to Edwin Hoberer & Judy Skaggs.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She always had a bright smile and a contagious laugh. Edwina had a great love for her family.

Edwina lived in England for several years. While in England she went to college and got her associates in business. She loved talking about her time in England and all the things she got to see while over there. When she returned to Gainesville, she had her son Cameron, the love of her life. Her whole world revolved around loving and providing for him.

Edwina worked in telecommunications for many years. After that she was the freight manager at the Dollar Tree in Gainesville. She loved the customers there and made plenty of new friends while working there.

Edwina is survived by her mother Judy Skaggs; son Cameron Hoberer; granddaughter Ophelia Hoberer-Morales; brothers Richard Hoberer, Randy Hoberer and Cody Joe Pope; nieces Alexandria Hoberer, Ashlyn Settle, Allison Hoberer, and Aspen Pope.

Edwina was preceded in death by her father Edwin Hoberer; grandparents John & Elizabeth Hoberer, Charlie & Rosalee Parkhill. A memorial visitation will be at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville, on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
