Elton "Tom" Thomas Morrison

Tom Morrison, 72, of Gainesville, was born on June 6, 1953 to John Edwin and Margaret Le (Starbuck) Morrison in Galesburg, IL. He was a Vietnam Veteran.

Tom passed away on May 6, 2026 in Gainesville. He was a devoted, loving, caring husband to his wife Dianne Morrison of Gainesville. They shared a relationship for over 32 years and have been married for over 20 of those years.

Mr. Morrison has two brothers, Jim Morrison of Brighton, MO and Danny Morrison of Willard, MO. He also has two sons, Steve Morrison of Gainesville and Jeremy Morrison of Newport News VA. His grandchildren are Nathan and Annie Morrison. His stepchildren include his stepdaughter Toni; three step-grandchildren Jaycee, Colin, and Piper; two stepsons Brian of Terrell and Tim of Lewisville.
