Galdino Calleros Perez

Galdino Calleros Perez, 87, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2026, at his home in Gainesville, Texas, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born on April 18, 1938, in Nicolas Bravo, Canatlan, Durango, Mexico to Cruz Calleros Villarreal, and Catalina Perez.  

Galdino attended school in Mexico.  He worked at Winstar in Housekeeping, and also worked in Landscaping for many years, as it was his favorite hobby.  Galdino loved his family and was a hard worker.  

Galdino was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Galdino is survived by seven of his children: Son, David Calleros, Daughter, Gloria Mesta, and husband Jose Mesta, Son, Jesus Calleros, and wife Rosie Calleros, Daughter Bertha Calleros, and Daughter Catalina Calleros Gerardo Barmejo.  He is also survived by 31 Grandchildren, 79 Great-Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.  

He is preceded in death by his Wife, Maria Calleros, Son, Santos Calleros, and Daughter, Sara Calleros.

The family will receive friends for a Rosary and Visitation at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Gregoria Albineda officiating.  Interment will be at New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
