Gerardo Torres, 37, of Gainesville, TX, passed away April 6, 2025 in Denison, TX.

Gerardo was born October 2, 1987 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He enjoyed spending time with his children and working out. He loved going to the lake and the movies with his children and family.

Predeceased by: grandparents Aurelia and Juan Morales, and Monica and Pedro Torres; mother Ubalda Morales; brothers Felipe, Pedro, Carlos, and Jose Angel Torres; and son Daniel Torres.

Survived by: father Gelasio Torres; children Eliana, Gerardo, and Aisel Torres; brother Gelacio Torres (Lorena); sister Ubalda Gutierez (Juan); sister Angelica Torres; sister Vanessa Fangman (Adam); and brother Arsenio Torres.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Real Life Church, Gainesville. A committal service will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville.
