Glen was born January 1, 1945 in Gainesville. He was raised and spent his career in Gainesville. Mr. Sharp was a member of Grace Friendship Baptist Church.
Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by: parents Arthur Dale and Carrie Lue (Durham) Sharp; wife Jewel (Rowland) Sharp; and sister Wanda Huneycutt.
Survivors include: son Glen Sharp Jr. of Fate, TX; son John Sharp and wife Rachel of Gainesville, TX; and three grandchildren.
